Nina Asusa, Broker

Nina's journey in real estate began in the early 1990's where her passion for real-estate quickly grew from an investor and home renovator, to where she is today. In 2006*, Nina launched her full-time real estate career and quickly found herself helping her clients, who many became friends, achieve not just any lifestyle, but the lifestyle they wanted for themselves. Her model was and always will be ''Don't follow someone else's story; create your own story, create your own lifestyle, because 'home is where your story begins.'''  From a single realtor, to developing a strong team of realtors she personally mentored and later owning a real estate brokerage firm, Nina's focus remained the same. She continues to channel her high energy and extensive experience into understanding her client's needs and wants, and in helping them in their real estate journey. Nina's greatest honour is the trust others grant her when welcoming her in their life's journey.

Let’s Go Glamping!

Glamping, or glamorous camping has become a huge outdoor trend. Instead of setting up your own tent and sleeping on a sleeping bag on the ground, you sleep on a lush bed in a framed shelter with amenities like electricity and hot water. Fronterra is Prince Edward County’s first luxury campsite, located on a waterfront farm. Reconnect with nature, food and simple living and enjoy a sleep in a luxury prospector tent complete with a summer kitchen and ensuite bathroom. If you’re more of a glamper than a camper, check out one of the most gorgeous places to go glamping!
About Fronterra
Simplicity, self-sufficiency and sustainability are at the forefront of Fronterra’s mission. They offer agro-tourism experiences that connect their guests with farm-to-table food and the 200-year history of the farm itself. Luxury camping at Fronterra allows you to enjoy and experience nature with ultimate comfort so you can truly appreciate all that nature has to offer.
The Camp
Romantic and enchanting, the camps at Fronterra are log-framed canvas prospector tent-suites that feature a king size bed, inside sitting lounge, ensuite bathroom with a hot shower, and a private outdoor kitchen with a charcoal grill. Each tent-suite was designed with its own individual rustic-chic style, with large living spaces that let in sunshine and a gentle breeze while keeping out bugs. The summer kitchen comes equipped with cast iron cookware, an icebox, and tableware including wine and beer glasses for a meal with vegetables sourced from their gardens and eggs from their coop.
Surrounding Activities
There’s lots to do right around the Fronterra campsite. You can walk or paddle over to North Beach, which fronts both North Bay and Lake Ontario for a day in the sun. You can also explore some of the 20-something vineyards of Prince Edward County by bike, boat or foot. Or take a short drive to the towns of Wellington and Bloomfield to walk their charming streets. You can get canoe and bike rentals right on the Fronterra grounds, but make sure to request them during your reservation as they have limited availability. And they’re happy to arrange packages such as private camp chefs, group wine tours, salmon fishing and photography outings.
The Farm and Brewery
Fronterra is a 58-acre waterfront organic farm and brewery situated in the Hillier limestone soils of Prince Edward County’s wine terroir. It grows hops, and 130 varieties of veggies, herbs and edible flowers. Fronterra offers their guests the experience of farm-to-plate workshops focusing on sustainability, self-sufficiency and personal health. Learn about topics such as organic gardening, jamming, jarring, pickling and beer brewing during the day, and head to your luxury campsite come nighttime.
If glamping sounds right up your alley, head to Fronterra for the ultimate luxury camping experience!
