Nina Asusa, Broker

Nina's journey in real estate began in the early 1990's where her passion for real-estate quickly grew from an investor and home renovator, to where she is today. In 2006*, Nina launched her full-time real estate career and quickly found herself helping her clients, who many became friends, achieve not just any lifestyle, but the lifestyle they wanted for themselves. Her model was and always will be ''Don't follow someone else's story; create your own story, create your own lifestyle, because 'home is where your story begins.'''  From a single realtor, to developing a strong team of realtors she personally mentored and later owning a real estate brokerage firm, Nina's focus remained the same. She continues to channel her high energy and extensive experience into understanding her client's needs and wants, and in helping them in their real estate journey. Nina's greatest honour is the trust others grant her when welcoming her in their life's journey.

We recently posted a message on our Facebook and Instagram accounts to acknowledge the special times we are finding ourselves in.  In case you missed it, here it is:

“Hey there…we just want to take a moment and say hello to everyone online right now!

We wanted everyone to know that although procedures have changed to benefit the public, it’s business as usual with @askninasteam.  We are working remotely since last Friday when our corporate office @royallepagecanada gave directions to help #flattenthecurve.  We have #bestpractices in place. We are taking the necessary precautions and strict measures to make sure our buyers, sellers and neighbours are safe.  And, of course, our very own team members and employees.
We know that things are a bit upside down for everyone, but we want you to know how impressed we are with your own willingness to make a difference!  How reassuring it is to see our communities coming together as we forge ahead!  We thank you for doing your part!

Please, try to find the silver lining to all of this every single day…we do.  Think about it:  No rush hour!  Those precious extra moments at the beginning and end of the day that would normally be rushed and stressed out…shift them to appreciate those people around you.  Open the door and get some real vitamin D!  Go for long walks and stay socially safe.  Get your news from credible sources such as @who and Health Canada.Have you heard the birds singing?  Spring is just around the corner…take a walk, go to the park with the kids, plan a family bike trip.  And lastly, you can count on neighbours with lots of toilet paper to share.
Take your precautions and plan what you can and stay hopeful. It’s true, no one can tell us what is going to happen in the next few weeks, but it’s important we do our individual best to remain positive, hopeful and good human beings who care for our neighbours.  Yes, working and cooperating togethercan make a difference!  We will conquer this!
Thinking of you and we are here to help any way we can.”
