Nina Asusa, Broker

Nina's journey in real estate began in the early 1990's where her passion for real-estate quickly grew from an investor and home renovator, to where she is today. In 2006*, Nina launched her full-time real estate career and quickly found herself helping her clients, who many became friends, achieve not just any lifestyle, but the lifestyle they wanted for themselves. Her model was and always will be ''Don't follow someone else's story; create your own story, create your own lifestyle, because 'home is where your story begins.'''  From a single realtor, to developing a strong team of realtors she personally mentored and later owning a real estate brokerage firm, Nina's focus remained the same. She continues to channel her high energy and extensive experience into understanding her client's needs and wants, and in helping them in their real estate journey. Nina's greatest honour is the trust others grant her when welcoming her in their life's journey.

Brampton may be a wonderful place to live, but if you’re looking to get away this winter, you can take advantage of gorgeous getaways just outside the city. Everyone needs an escape now and then, and if flying to a hot and sunny destination isn’t in the cards, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the winter season.

Bundle up for stroll down Clifton Hill, and take in the falls at the end. The winter gives the falls an entirely new dimension of beauty, which makes being out in the cold totally worth it.

At night, unwind with a glass of wine at one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s vineyard restaurants like Ravine or Kitchen 76 at Two Sisters Vineyards. And don’t forget to check out the main street in town for some boutique shopping, drinks and homemade treats.

A little farther than the other getaways on this list, Prince Edward County is worth the drive. PEC is magical come wintertime, and there’s no shortage of things to do. Make sure to head over to Sandbanks Provincial Park, which offers a quiet retreat with beautiful views of Lake Ontario.

Enjoy snowshoeing and wine tasting at Sugarbush vineyards, take a craft brewery tour, and indulge in a meal and drinks at Drake Devonshire Inn. You can choose to stay there or one of PEC’s beautiful bed and breakfasts like The Edward.
